OK, maybe today’s blog is more about dog owners NOT picking up their dog’s poop more than dog poop itself. 😉
Guys I’ll not make this one VERY long. It will TRULY be shortish–comparrd to some of my other ones anyway.
But what is up with dog owners not picking up after their dogs poop?
I am told that dog poop is no bueno for other dog consumption nor for the lawn. And that it can spread diseases.
And even if that was “fake news” it’s still not cool to leave your dog’s feces to be stepped on by someone out for a walk, jog, run, bike ride or simply by someone getting in their car going somewhere. Yes, yes, I say that from personal experience. It may have happened over 10 years ago and I won’t EVER forget it. Furthermore, I would like to go the rest of my life and not have that happen again. Is that so wrong?
Anywho, leaving your dog poop is rude and lazy of you. There I said…errr…wrote it!
I love dogs! They should be allowed to be outside. And it’s not there fault their owner isn’t a responsible dog owner.
But I don’t love seeing that stuff on the grass outside my apartments. I’m not talking a little here and there from time to time either. It seems to be multiplying. And let me tell you nothing like a nice cool breeze being ruined by the smell of dog shite! Ugghhh NO!
I finally had to report it to managment. I’m no snitch. I just want to live in a place that isn’t shit#y–literally!
If you want your dog to poop in the grass and you don’t want to pick it up then rent or buy a home and let them have fun in the backyard. Is that not reasonable. Yes it is! Right? Right!
And trust me guys, I know picking up your dogs poop is not fun. At all. No one is saying that’s a joy to do.
That said, if you have a dog then take care of its business. Just like me not letting my cats go outside to go to the bathroom. God knows how cat urine STINKS! No, I don’t nor wouldn’t do that. If I did I would have them on a leash (hey it’s possible) and pick up their crapola. I would. 🤞🏽🖖🏽
We pay rent for making sure the complex is kept nicely. A part of that is not having dog poop everywhere. And NO it’s not the maintenance folks job. It’s. The. Dog. Owners.
Of course, if someone is physically disabled and can’t do it themselves that is an exception. I would like to think management would help them out with that.
Alright, that’s my rant (even though I don’t think of it as ranting) for today. I feel so much better. I got this out on my podcast and in my blog. I should sleep well tonight. 🤣
