So, though I am not letting go (for now) of my Teal Time with Hope podcast I have decided to start another one. This one is a micro podcast, which means that it will not be longer than twenty minutes with one exception and that would be if I bring on a guest. Outside of that my episodes -- this is my goal anyway -- will be no more than ten to fifteen minutes. I've posted four already and have managed to not go over eleven minutes so I think I'll do well with keeping them (relatively) short.

The reason that I decided to create a new podcast was twofold: 1.) Is I want to talk about a lot of things that is outside of ovarian cancer. 2.) I really need an outlet to vent. hahahaha Okay, maybe that is not the reason, but it doesn't hurt that podcasting, for me, is good for venting. But not like I'll be doing that terribly much; however, oh there will be venting as there as things that I experience that I will definitely being getting real about: i.e. people at the gym that do not care to wipe their machines and/or weights and/or floor mats down after using them after they have been sweating on them. Like, REALLY?! That's not just gross but quite rude, in my opinion. I remember thirty years ago, when I worked in a gym, that we were supposed to wipe down the things we used when working out. That was WAYYYYYY before covid but here we are in 2025 -- post covid, you know, the WORLD PANDEMIC, and some folks be out here not caring if they leave their germs on things they use when working out. Like, HELLO! #rude

That's just one example too. That said, I'm not one to just be complaining ... although I really don't see it as me complaining as I know many people feel the same about some of the inconsiderate things some folks be doing out here. At any rate, I won't be speaking solely about the things that folks be doing that show they either don't care in that selfish way or that they may simply be ignorant about. My money is on the former rather than the latter, but that's just my opinion. Anyway ... the podcast will have me talking about an array of things and I'm really excited about it.

Another reason it is a micro podcast is because of the fact that it takes a lot of time to edit and add music to the episode. I don't have to edit and just let it flow; however, I do prefer to take out the "Uh" and places where I am saying "and" too many times and just other areas that don't sound as good once I listen to it or even times when I said something I didn't mean to say. Being able to go in there and edit helps to make the episode sound just a tad bit professional. At least in the editing department anyway. I can't speak for how I do as a podcaster. I never want to sound stiff as if I am reading from a script while at the same time, I do want every episode to be executed in a way that keeps the audience engaged and wanting to come back for more. That is my hope anyway.

Please go give my podcast a listen and maybe even leave a comment or a five-star review and even subscribe to know when new episodes drop. All you have to do is click on the Real Talk with Hope tab on this website or head over to Spotify. Thanks in advance. 🫶🏽

Oh, and episodes drop every Monday and Wednesday.

Happy end of May and Happy Friday. 🌻
